Claude Code CLI:
You can also build a personal agent on top of Claude Code. Note that you need to add tools and skills to Claude Code to make it work for you. It used to just work with Anthropic but as of today people have cracked it and you can run it on with other Models. You can search “claude code free” and see many different installation options.
Character: It is like a very talented multi-skilled employee strong, fast but you need to structure the new kid in the house.
OpenClaw:
Open Source any LLM model can work in it. It has a huge community and a brilliant brain “Peter” dedicated on the project. With the addition of OpenAI team and Nvidia support it suddenly become an industry standard. It used to be extremely fragile. It is much better compared to where we started. The Clawhub skill marketplace is making it a real community. Security is an important issue but Peter had dropped great innovation/partnership on security also. Nvidia would play a key role for sure.
Character: Much like an artist that runs without limits. If you install the wrong LLM model it can suddenly go crazy. Very sensitive to LLM model that is used inside Claw. More like a crazy Painter.
Hermes AI:
Least known in the group but a strong developer team. Focuses on Memory and self improvement. Looks more professional due to structured technical layout. Never forgets anything. Constantly improves itself by learning about you. less fragile.
Charecter: A structured University student that keeps learning.
Paperclip AI: An other category. It is the Harness to combine many different agent frameworks into one platform. Any formerly mentioned agent can be added as an Employee into your company. the logic is to setup a company with a goal to solve a problem. You create agents that would help you solve your problem.
Character: Company harness that your agents survive and collaborate.
